Who we are
Jocara LLC ("Jocara," "we," "us") is a Texas limited liability company based in Magnolia, Texas. This policy explains what information we collect through jocara.co, our Discord community Deal Hive, and our software and services, and how we use it. Questions go to info@jocara.co.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Community membership. If you join Deal Hive, we see your Discord username, profile and the messages you post in our server. Discord's own privacy policy governs the Discord platform.
- Payment details. Subscription payments are handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment and basic billing details, not your full card number.
- Software and seller account data. If you use our sourcing tools and connect a seller account, we process the product, pricing, fee and listing-eligibility data needed to provide the tool. We do not sell this data.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to operate and secure the site. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to you and provide the services, community access and software you sign up for.
- To process subscriptions and manage membership.
- To operate, secure and improve our site, bots and tools.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
AI processing
Some of our tools use AI models, including Anthropic's Claude, to analyze product data or draft text. Data sent for this purpose is limited to what the feature needs, and is handled under the AI provider's commercial terms.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Jocara, such as our website host, payment provider, email provider, Discord, and data and AI providers used by our tools, and only as needed for them to do that work. We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts, and our links may take you to Discord, Amazon or retailer websites. Those services have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@jocara.co. You can leave Deal Hive or cancel a subscription at any time.
Children
Our services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
